1. We wanted to get away from the 'cool' (high 60's) beach weather in Orange County, w/ scattered showers scheduled locally that week.

5. A great time to visit might be September when the weather is cooling down a bit (it can still be hot) but the hotel hasn't started to charge winter (high season) rates.

9. We've particularly enjoyed checking in here during the summer to watch monsoon storms build over the nearby mountains and then come rolling in to cool things off a bit.
