3. Though I was happy to be in the heart of the city and within a few blocks of restaurants and Horton Plaza (the downtown shopping mall), the loud music from adjacent bars had me concerned.

6. I stayed 5 nights at the Ramada during Comic-Con International 2009 and was overall pretty happy with the hotel.

Pros- Upgraded us to the Presidential suite to accomodate us- Very obliging valet parking, happy to retrive car/goods as many times as you wished- Location: In the heart of the gaslamp district, but not too noisy- Old school lifts and furnishings, well kept- Friendly staffCons- Valet parking ($20) not mentioned in the booking.
