1. I was picturing a hotel with high cielings, a nice pool and hot tub to relax in at night, free parking? (22 dollars to valet your car, or you can 'park on the street' like they said, but there is a lot across the street that you can get for cheaper than 20) or even just friendly staff.

3. I realize the rates I paid to many is probably on the cheaper side and you're saying 'you get what you pay for' - to put things in perspective, I was there for Comic Con, and the rates at the time I booked for the Hard Rock, Solamar, etc were between $330-$375 a night.

4. When we arrived in June, shuttle is now $5 per person (cheaper to take a taxi if there are two of you.
