1. There was a generous layer of dust on the vents this time and a few small sticky patches on the carpet probably from the previous occupants.

4. I see from other reviews that there are some bad experiences, especially with vacationers and families, but for general business travel, which is my primary experience, you are hard pressed to find comparable lodging (although the Marriott a few blocks down the road is also quite good).

6. This Hyatt Regency is listed as a 4 star facility, more likely should be 3, at the very most The room is a generous size, but, there is no exhaust system in any of the bathrooms, and, the AC is just not adequate.

7. generally these items are included and because of this, we had to park in the street which in itself was a chore because there was no parking spaces available.

While the location (for San Diego) is a little generic in that it`s in a high-density residential neighborhood not right in downtown or by the beach, it`s also very convenient to everything, and the room rates are very reasonable for the quality (you could stay in downtown, but in my mind that isn`t really in the spirit of San Diego, or you can stay right on the beach for a lot more money).
