6. Its location couldn't be better for those of us who prefer to walk: on a quiet street right next to Balboa Park, an easy stroll to the Zoo, the restaurants and nightlife of Hilllcrest (and the Gaslamp Quarter in the other direction).

10. The rooms are huge - older - the furniture has seen better days - the hallways are dark and dingy & a little stinky - but it feels like an old building (which is what it is) with tons of character.
