1. I agree, the bathroom was small and dated, the carpets were old and probably needed better vacuuming in the corners.

4. Can't help but compare it with the Mena House, in Cairo from about the same era, they did a fantastic job of updating, plus the service was a 100% better.

5. There are no mini-bars or mini-fridges in the rooms (which we use to store our own drinks and food), and the bedspread and carpets have seen better days.

7. As mentioned in other reviews you couldn't have a better location, right near the wonderful riverwalk, near a shopping mall, across from the Alamo and walking distance to just about everything.
