2. My wife and I fell in love with El Tropicano while attending a Navy ship's reunion -- a great location on the Riverwalk as water taxis provide the main mode of transportation -- although not down in the bustling commercial center, it provided for a quiet ambience in old San Antone.

6. This would be a great hotel for a party or celebration of any kind and for vacationers as it is right on the Riverwalk, but is lacking in a lot of arenas for a business trip.
