I loved this hotel for several reasons - cleaniness and updated presentation of the entire facility; location: three city blocks to Riverwalk & Alamo Plaza where tourist transportation hubs, two blocks to Macy's (on way to Plaza), Rte 281 just out the door so easy find from airport and driving to many attractions; public transportation to the hub was just steps away (a key factor in summer, not so much during cooler months); free parking (beware of most downtown hotels fees $30/day); business office w/Internet & printing capability; very helpful, friendly staff.
