I loved this hotel for several reasons - cleaniness and updated presentation of the entire facility; location: three city blocks to Riverwalk & Alamo Plaza where tourist transportation hubs, two blocks to Macy's (on way to Plaza), Rte 281 just out the door so easy find from airport and driving to many attractions; public transportation to the hub was just steps away (a key factor in summer, not so much during cooler months); free parking (beware of most downtown hotels fees $30/day); business office w/Internet & printing capability; very helpful, friendly staff.

From the courteous front desk staff, the attentive room cleaning service, the decor both in the public areas and the rooms, and the good value breakfast deal, there was very little that one could complain about, When the location is factored in, easy walking to most of the downtown attractions, public transport right outside the door, the value for money is quite something.

8. We walked to all the downtown Fiesta Week attractions and the RIverwalk, and during Fiesta Week you really don't want to drive or park if you can keep from it.

9. Checking with the front desk revealed that we could purchase extremely cheap trolley passes at the desk and not even have to move our car from the parking lot to see all of the wonderful attractions in the downtown area.
