1. I would recommend this hotel, but not if there was an event being hosted at the hotel and let me also say that there are other options within a 3 mile radius that would cost less and likely newer (FYI-There is a difference between a remodeled hotel and a new one).

No flat screen TV as advertisedTHe front desk is not friendly whatsover, even in check-inthe rooms haven't been updated since the 70'sloud noises coming from next door when trying to sleep (walls paper thin)the gym has no free-weights, just three excerise machines crammed into a closet with a crappy tvI would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

8. Brownstone was actually recommended to us by a NC State employee who clearly knew everything there was to know about lodging accomodations in Raleigh.
