1. The room was huge, the beds (including the queen-size pull-out sofa bed) comfortable, and my kids were completely charmed by our companion goldfish, whom they named 'Sushi'.

The hotel was a top-tier experience, with plenty of fun amenities--the decor is eclectic but tasteful, the service is exceptional, and the morning coffee service and evening wine service offers an opportunity to mix with other guests in a grand space (the main reception room is huge, but warm and inviting).
