1. Next time we stay, however, we will try to find parking elsewhere since Portland is such a walkable city (it seemed to us that we could do better than $35/night).

But I am not sure if it was my frame of mind whilst here that affected this (traveling solo - probably a better hotel for families or groups of friends to enjoy) the fact I didn't utilise the added benefits that I am sure make this hotel so special such as the happy hour, or the average service received.
