4. We had an exquisite meal at their onsite restaurant, top notch, FRESH HALIBUT, delicious appetizers, homemade applie pie and homemade ice cream, even our kids' Mac & Cheese was the best we had ever tasted.

5. On the positive side, a day or so after bringing the crib, they brought a complimentary stuffed puppy for my son and a complimentary bottle of delicious Malbec wine for my wife and I.

6. Bacon-wrapped jalapenos (fiery hot, perfectly delicious) stand out in my memory, but we ate/drank here happily a half dozen times.

Little things like helpful advice from the desk about where to eat nearby (Portland is full of delicious food, do venture forth and explore), the garage valet not minding holding my rental car for 2 hours while we unloaded and settled in (no charge though it's not free parking) since I planned to return it.
