1. If there are better rooms, the hotel did not see fit to move us to one.

2. We would guess that management already knew about the problems; they should do a better job cleaning, maintaining and updating the rooms; and, when a guest has a problem, they should move them to a better room, not the same type of room where they are likely to experience the same problems.

4. From the front desk staff to the restaurant to house keeping, the service was top notch and excellent - I couldn't have asked for better.

9. I would stress though that there are likely better, cheaper, safer options further into the French Quarter which probably renders this hotel unnecessary unless you can't get into the others.

10. It is a 3 star hotel, after all, so we keep that in mind when we think that service or amenities could be better.
