1. There is a restaraunt inside the hotel that I did not check out, a Popeyes and Arby's right around the corner for you fast food folk, and a yummy Brennan family restaraunt around the corner also called 'Palace Cafe.

2. You had to go to reception to use the safe deposit box,I would have preferred a safe in the room but the process at reception was fast and efficient.

4. The elevator issue was a big 'huh' -- during a busy holiday weekend it's been no issue or delay and the 18th floor connector elevator is lightning-fast (yeah they dont have AC but whats the point, you're only on them for a minute right?).

10. They have soda machines that aren't overly priced but there is a convenience store across the street from the hotel; Canal street is about two blocks away so you have access to planty of fast food and shopping.
