7. He came up with the most ludicrous explanations as to why the room wasn't ready yet (asking for a two twin beds is a 'special accommodation'?) When I wouldn't accept the room change, he offered to buy me a drink, like spending time with him was the most exciting thing a traveler to the French Quarter could find.
