4. The pluses: good food in both restaurants that I tried and I had room service 2 times; the lobby view is beautiful overlooking the french quarters and the river; excellent service.

5. I will have to say that this is at least a good 12 minute walk to the convention center but it is an amazing location to the French Quarters.

6. Needless to say, the bed is amazing as usual, and the room was overall good, but this place just feels old to me, while I suppose still upscale, there are no wall hangings in the halls, no free internet (which I suppose is typical with upscale hotels) and no fridge.
