1. Overall, the hotel is fine for a stay in New Orleans but nothing special and is in need of attention to customer service, detail and cleanliness.

To briefly summarise the main impression of the hotel:The room was on 36th floor and was pretty well appointed with the usual Marriott decor and usual standards of cleanliness (which is to say, pretty clean), the only issue I had was a long wait for the lifts in the lobby since you need to program your floor and are assigned a lift letter (at first this seemed a good system but when there are more than a dozen people waiting for lifts, it quickly becomes tedious).

5. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, mainly for its cleanliness, location, and security of the fact that I'd probably be able to sleep, no matter what kind of all night party is happening in the French Quarter.

6. However, I have stayed in many hotels in New Orleans and overall, due to hotel condition, staff attentiveness, cleanliness, amenities, location, and group rate that I received, I was VERY happy here and will certainly stay here again.
