3. The other couple booked the room, but we got a pretty good deal of about $245/night (which includes tax, parking, and such), relative to the other reviewers saying they paid upwards of $300 a night for that weekend.

5. Another thing - they were obviously changing mattresses on a load of the beds when we were there which is of course good - but for the last 2 days the car park was full of dirty mattresses - I wonder how long it took them to move them all? No extractor fan in the shower was pretty poor too.

6. I'll start with the positives as there definitely were some - the location was good, the foyer impressive, the staff were nice and the room was quiet.

7. The price for this hotel was very good compared to many other downtown hotels, and it even included continental breakfast.
