1. You could do better (for a price or by sacrificing locale), but you could also definitely do worse.

4. Next time, we'll stay in midtown a couple of miles up the street, more lively in a low-key type of way and better if you want to stay away from the loud downtown (we were not there for the music, which I know is excellent.

8. Overall, if you have a car and are ok driving places (we relied on our own two feet), I think you can find better hotels at a better price outside of downtown.

9. Only draw back was that to park in their garage it was an additional $20 fee, but we felt better knowing that the car was in the hotel lot as opposed to another lot across town.
