1. My big complaint would be the cost of the internet $17 per device.

Pros:-Location, right downtown on the water across from Miami Beach-Internet is cheap for a 4 star ($12/24 hours)-Rooms are nice and big-Enough TV channels-Very nice lobby-Large fitness center (all cardio machines have built in TV)-Spa-It does have a pool, but I didn't see it-If you are a priority club member you can save 15% at the hotel restaurant (has a pretty good breakfast - about $25 with 15% off and included gratuity)Cons-Parking expensive ($36/night, valet only)-$21 taxi ride to Miami Beach-Had some kids staying in the next room, could hear a lot in the morningOther details:-Checkout at noon-Stayed on the 25th floor.

3. Maybe it was not the highest of the high season, but the room was only 180, really cheap for an Intercontinental, especially one in such a big city (it was cheaper than some of the 3 stars at the time).

4. In a hotel this big and expensive the last thing they should be charging for is the gym.

5. The bathroom is pretty big, and is provided with a separate glass shower and a bath-tub.

6. To add to that, I reached hotel 12:30 am in the night with a completely tired body and big suitcase in my hand and nobody from the entire hotel staff even offered a courtesy luggage help and I had to drag it along, all the way to my room.
