4. The cheaper Holiday Inn helped us despite us not being guests and pointed us to the nearby Western Union (Miami tip: exchange all of your money before going it was a real headache exchanging it there for some reason).

We had a lot of problems exchanging money in Miami since our hotel was not only not near anything that could help us with this typical tourist practice (odd since it's in the financial district), but also because the staff could not and would not try to name a place we could cab/walk to do this.
