7. read all the views about the hotel some good some bad ,well i had agreat time the staff were helpful (which you want) and the morning staff at ' friday's' were fantastic helpful polite and funny ,eat there every morning and a couple of times at night no problems with the food for me and i'm a fussy eater ,the hotel is a couple of hundered yards from beale street where all the action is ,which is great no need for cabs , did all the tourist things 'graceland',sun studio's,rock & soul museum and the best of them all stax museum which was the highlite of my trip it just needs more people to vist as it's a well set out museum (i've been to chess (chicago) and hitsville(detroit) it towers above them in style, content and layout and yes i know it was rebuilt (a fantastic job) and chess & motown are the original studios but hey a lot of thought and love has went into it ,so overall hotel was great and the time spent in memphis was also great .
