1. Hotel in central Memphis, in safe though quiet area, within walking distance of Beale Street.

5. I don't get people who stay in the middle of a city and expect complete quiet so I totally get why the hotel takes this step.

6. It's also opposite the Peabody so it's easy to be able to cross over the road for quiet drinks in their lobby bar, watch the twice daily duck ceremony and do some Peabody Shopping (Lansky's, clothier to Elvis now has it's store located here.

7. Had a brilliant timeThe Holiday Inn as a great hotel, room was nice and clean, quiet (although there were ear plugs provided just in case the noise from Beale Street got too much but you could barely hear it)Bathroom was snug, but how much room do you need a bathroom anyway.
