4. However, a 'Denny's' restaurant is also on site if you like expensive greasy stuff (and this one has a bar, which is good), and fast-food outlets are within walking distance.

5. Worked great on our iPhones and was fast enough for a Skype call to New Zealand as I needed to cancel a reservation because we had to come home early due to a volcanic ash cloud.

8. Sure enough, we crossed the road and stood outside 'Carls Jrs' fast-food restaurant and caught Big Blue Bus number 3 to Marina Del Ray (1$; 15 minutes approx).

9. There are plenty of fast food outlets with-in a few minutes walk of the hotel, although not sure how nice it would be to walk there at night (we had a car so walking wasn't an issue) but during the day when we were going out and about, it looked ok, with no noticeable undesirables hanging around, but the attached Denny's is open 24hrs.
