We were originally looking to stay in Santa Monica but on our budget we opted for beachfront on Venice instead of back blocks of Santa Monica and were not disappointed The hotel is in a great spot and it's a quick bus ride up to Santa Monica or about an enjoyable 40 minute stroll along the boardwalk.

5. An after dinner walk along the Boardwalk, enjoying the Sunset and then Breakfast the next morning on the Boardwalk made for a wonderfully enjoyable weekend getaway.
