4. Venice Beach appears to be the only place in Los Angeles that we can afford to stay and this time (after our initial attempt proved to be an utter failure) we found a part of Venice Beach that we actually like.

5. The staff was super friendly and flexible, we ended up taking the smallest room because this was all we could afford but it was very cute and cozy with an amazing view on Venice beach and very tasteful 'art deco' decor.
