6. The staff are very welcoming, and after a day of seeing the sights nothing beats relaxing with a glass of pinot noir in the lobby or by the outdoor fireplace, gratis daily.

7. We had come from over a foot of snow back home in Philadelphia, and the sun we got in LA was welcome.

8. The staff, from the bellhops to the front desk to the servers at the restaurant and bar welcome me by name the minute i arrive and are genuinely attentive to my needs while staying at the hotel (i stay there a lot).

9. From the moment the rental car pulls in and the treatment is stellar whether you drive a Civic or an Aston Martin; from the greeting as the front door opens for you and wonderful reception at check in; from the personalized touches welcoming you to the hotel .
