1. I stayed at this hotel in LA back in July of 2009 and it was an outstanding hotel.

2. Yes, the traffic noise is inescapable, at least if you are on the east side of the building overlooking Interstate 405, but on the other hand, the views of the city are quite outstanding from an upper floor.
