1. This was our first stopover after a long flight from Australia and we arrived just after 1pm and our room was ready so were very happy with this.

2. The night before we've stayed in a tiny room in a fancy historical hotel for double value, so we were more than happy to move to the spacious and inexpensive place where we had kitchenette, living-room, bedroom and bathroom.

5. We were lucky the day we reached it was a premiere of happy Feet 2 and we met tons of celebrities due to the location of the hotel.

6. The parking is free and the continental breakfast is complimentary and was sufficient for us although our friends preferred to walk down the road for a breakfast of eggs and bacon - they are big breakfast eaters but we are quite happy with cereal, toast, muffins, fruit and juice.

From the moment we walked in to the welcoming recpetion area (where our 5 family room bookings were happily changed around for us), happy staff, clean spacious rooms, neat and not crowded pool area and easy access to Hollywoodand Highland Shopping Centre, which leads straight to the areas tourist highlights.
