2. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of space, the breakfast bar catered for all tastes, and we particulary enjoyed the complimentary 'happy hour' on our return to the hotel in the evening.

3. The light in our bathroom made an annoying buzzing sound and the bed was a little firm and stiff for my tastes though my husband thought the bed was comfortable.

4. Ads an additional bonus, they have wine-cheese tastings and free breakfast every day; even though I did not care for either, I did notice a lot of folks appreciating the snacks.

9. We stayed at the Elan for 4 nights and were impressed with the tasteful renovations and the staff were just as helpful as when we stayed here 3 years ago.
