1. I've stayed there 3 years now, for convenience, but each year there is some new surprise of total lack of maintenance.

2. Everything was clean, bed was nice and soft, bathroom was new-ish, complementary wifi was great (better and faster than the internet I have at home), shuttle to the Medical Center was convenient and great, and they have an awesome business center with computers and a printer.

3. I'm sure back when the Astrodome was the IT stadium, this hotel was probably fabulous, but it's now 2011 and the building isn't a brand new building, so don't expect all the frills from a boutique place.

4. With all the renovations it still had the feel of an old Holiday Inn with the old tiles and stained ceiling tiles tossed in with some new granite counter tops and very nice beds.

5. If you are going to stay here be aware that its right on the interstate, but the noise is minimal from your room and there is a great restaurant 5 minutes walked called the new orleans restaurant surving huge portions and cheap prices.
