2. We definitley got hte feeling that the hotel was understaffed, and the hotel cared more about charging fees ($10/person charge & $20/parking) than taking care of their customers.

Let me put it this way: if you are a high-school age boy and you are looking for a place to spend Spring Break where you can pack 14 people into a hotel room and leer at girls in the swimming pool area from your balcony, and you don`t care that much about cleanliness because you plan on being drunk most of the time anyway.
