1. For some reason a hotel employee came to my room to give me a razor (?) so he must have noticed the empty tray sitting in the corridor, but when I left my room to go for food, it was still there, and when I got back from eating about an hour later, it was still there.

3. The main reason to stay here is the convenience - directly attached to the airport and interconnected to all the terminals by the inter-terminal tram which runs every 3 minutes.

4. At the Marriott Houston, yes, you pay for the location but here's what you get:- reasonably quiet facilities- Decent facilities including nice rooms, a revolving restaurant at the top and good regular restaurant and a good exercise room.

5. $300 per night is reasonable in a resort area and maybe for a luxury hotel in the downtown area, but this is not exactly in the best location for seeing the city.

8. If you are stranded at IAH outside security for whatever reason (or if you are inside but don't mind going back through and are stuck for a few hours), I recommend heading over here to help keep your sanity.
