4. After being very impressed with the Marriott at Dallas International, I was very underwellmed at the Houston Airport Marriott.

5. I then said engineering could come to the room and apparently the problem was in the ventilations system although I had the distinct impression they did not feel it was anything out of the ordinary - which does not say much for the Marriott.

9. My first impression of the room was very good and the bed and pillows were definitely the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel.

10. I wasn`t impressed with check-in, staff didn`t seem bothered at all, and the walk to the South tower lift wasn`t inspiring, the lift was lifeless and old - in fact I felt most of the public areas were still in the late `70s.
