1. When I got to the room, like the corridors, everything was clean, but worn out, with the exception of the bed linens, which seemed brand new.

3. The mattresses and pillows at upper end Marriotts are some of the best in the industry and this was no exception.

5. One annoyance is that you must get in your car and leave the airport zone in order to eat anywhere (with the obvious exception of the hotel restaurant).

7. Again, I was getting a deal because of a conference discount but I don't think I would find it worth paying for it at full price with the exception of its proximity to the airport.

I called directly & except for the snappish operator who answered the phone (she probably had been yelled at for hours & couldn`t take it anymore--I don`t blame her), I was able to make a reservation at the hotel before I got to the front of the airline`s customer service desk to see if they had rebooked me on a flight for Saturday.
