2. But I think in nice hotels, the thing that most irritates me is charging for wifi when cheaper hotels offer it free.
"Very nice, but feel nickel and dimed " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2012 Vote
3. The bartender at the Remington makes a great martini and is enjoyable to talk with-the king beds are comfy for lolling about it-free coffee downstairs each morning-and the hotel is gorgeous.

4. We were NEVER told that this was their interpretation of 'free continental breakfast' - well, I am sorry, but bread, fruits and cereals are part of a continental breakfast, and I would never eat pastries for breakfast (I guess healthy eating is unknown to them.
"Room OK but the most terrible service ever. Even for free, I'd never set foot here again. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/5/2011 Vote
5. In this case, why do not they give any instructions that only one item on the menu is free and everything else is extra??? The letter they give you at check in says 'complimentary Continental Breakfast for two daily', but does not tell you either 'complimentary 'The Continental' item from the breakfast menu'.

6. That usually means that you can order bread, cereals, fruits, juice, a hot drink for free, just no hot courses - and this is what we always did at all other FHR properties (where they even offered breakfast for three when the room was booked for three, even though the FHR program offers breakfast only for two theoretically).

7. We booked the room as part of the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts (FHR in the rest of the review) program, which provides early check-in/late check-out, a room upgrade on check-in upon availability, free continental breakfast for two daily, and a special hotel amenity when the reservation is made through their services.

8. Unlike many other FHR properties where the concierge level means some free food, there is none of that here.
