1. It's spendy and built for business travelers with big expense accounts, but you simply won't go wrong if you're looking for a first class hotel.

4. The hotel is pretty, my room 520 had big chips on the outside door, bathroom fixtures were dirty and the bathroom light switch was crooked, Really a 5 star?I was so hoping to be really wow'ed but that underwhelmed me.

8. I suppose they don't want guest and strangers randomly mixing and interacting in a parking deck, but I found the lack of self-parking for a more reasonable fee burdensome (although one might argue that the land necessary for parking is a big cost in this area of town).
"5 " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/29/2008 Vote
9. 00, big signs in the room saying that if you take the newspaper bag they will charge you $5 -- just tacky and not in keeping with the other St.
"Very Poor Experience at the St. Regis " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2008 Vote
10. com, only 2 out of the ~18-20 weeks did I receive an upgrade using the Platinum benefit to a suite- The fitness centre is on the small side (big hotel, but only 2 treadmills, 2 elipticals, 2 bikes, and limited weights).
"Great for Houston, but not a St. Regis " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2007 Vote
