1. Our room was one hundred dollars cheaper than a room at the Hilton where I have stayed three times without any friendliness or remarkable service.

3. Take a taxi which can be expensive on the journey to Downtown Boston because of the tolls ($28-30) and cheaper when getting to the hotel ($20) which maybe the only option after 10pm dinner in town.

6. He explained that there was a wedding reception on at the hotel that night and pointed out the internet facilities near the lobby, which you had to pay for - the first rip-off considering a lot of cheaper hotels provide this free these days.

7. coffee machine broken (Hilton has a Starbucks, cheaper food in its noisy bar and a much bigger range of beers although at higher prices)Minuses - VERY smoker unfriendly (I don't smoke, but you can't even smoke outdoors on the terrace, which I think is taking it too far), rather surly staff.

9. A little cheaper than downtown hotels usually, so pay a bit more to get a room on the "view" side, you can see all of downtown Boston across the harbor.
