1. Jerry good, the unbelievable concierge, truly went out of his way to arrange reservations and even had a surprise waiting for my daughter and myself at one of the best restaurants.

3. It's in a great location (Back Bay) and while shopping is not my thing, if it's yours, you'll be near two very good upscale shopping areas.

7. The bar drinks are not cheap but then what hotel bars are? Back in the room after a good meal out my wife fell asleep and i had the dreaded pain of passing a kidney stone.

10. Also if you are a good walker you can easily take the Boylston St and get to the Boston Common and walk the freedom trail.
