1. Hint to travelers: when you check in at any hotel, push for free wi-fi - they will usually do this if asked.

4. Personally am shocked by any hotel, let alone of this size and prominence, charging for wi-fi, when I could walk across the street and sit in the local book store and have free wi-fi.

5. Upon arrival waited 15 minutes until reception desk staff was free to check-in (v poor impression made worse as when being checked-in the receptionist answered the phone and dealt with the incoming query).

9. I am an I Prefer member and meant to receive extras such as complimentary internet, free upgrade, and welcome amenity; none of these were offered, and even after saying I was a member at check in, we were still charged for internet, and told that we would have to pay for an upgrade.
