1. The outside is beautifully landscaped, has close in open parking to your suite, has the incredible breakfast and generous happy hour, has a very family friendly atmosphere, nice pool & hot tub area with plenty of chairs/tables under shade trees, very friendly staff, & lots benches around the grounds and in front of each suite.

5. Where else but at the Habitat will you be surrounded by plants and birds, have your own fireplace (downstairs rooms only), get the sayings of the Buddha in your bedside table, use tiny sandalwood soaps, and get a generous hot breakfast and Happy Hour with a vegan/vegetarian option? Love this place.
"Quirky Austin hotel with its own cult following " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/21/2010 Vote
6. The next time I`m dispensing the obligatory generic cheerios from the continental breakfast bar in a HoJo`s somewhere, I`m really going to miss being able to sit underneath a cacao tree by the pool with a big cup of coffee, in the morning sun, and listen to the birdsong.
"I want to clone Habitat " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/3/2008 Vote
7. The general 'feel' of the room, though, is what we called 'Holiday Inn' and I agree with the other reviewer who called it 'mediocre'.

8. When we arrived the room was generally clean, stocked with silverware, and a Starbucks coffee pack, and unbleached paper towels in the kitchen.
