2. generally, I am not a Doubletree person -- I prefer the Marriott chains over the Hilton chains -- and this stay did nothing to encourage me to stay in a Doubletree again.

3. The hotel staff was quite pleasant and generally responsive though, when I asked for dishwashing liquid so we could wash baby bottles in our suite's kitchenette, they were unable to provide it or to identify a specific place I could get it easily.

7. With the beds generally better at Hampton Inns(Capital Place in Austin), the suites broadly similar at Embassy Suites with more choice and variety for the comp.
