1. Even at its cheapest (we got in on a 30% off deal at $175/night), this hotel is still a bit pricey compared to other non-Disney hotels in the immediate vicinity, but it's significantly cheaper than the other two Disney options, if you want to have a sprinkle of 'magic' with your stay.

2. We chose the Paradise Pier as is was the most economical and after we paid for the resort's concierge service upgrade, it was still cheaper than the other two Disney resorts.

9. Our usual Anaheim hotel is $50 cheaper per night, is more plush, and is a roomy suite; I personally can't reconcile the extra cost for the 'Disney experience', but glad we tried it once.
