8. The lobby was big enough to be its own theme park, the desk staff helpful, courteous and enthusiastic, the bedding down-filled and restful, the pools and jacuzzis heavenly and the access to Disney and California theme parks was WONDERFUL.

9. To some it may not meet the '5 star' rating based on comparison to others, but the minute I pull into the Grand Californian and turn my keys over to the valet, walk through those big beautiful sliding doors.
