1. The check-in was quick and the person helping me was very nice, I wasn't happy with the floor number (7th floor) since all the Kids Suite face the highway and they hadn't soundproof that floor.

We got here early and check in time was 4 pm however the check in agent was more then happy to check us in early he was so nice,he provided us on directions to Disneyland,how to get to the local malls and were I could best get a suitcase from,he also told us just to give him a buzz if we needed a taxi, he was so friendly .

3. The housekeeping manager made a great impression when I was in the housekeeping area doing laundry - made a special point of making sure we had everything we needed and were happy.

5. We were really happy with our stay at the hotel as our kids love to play in the water play ground and also it is very close to Disneyland, if we go to Disneyland again we would definitely stay at Howard Johnson Hotel again.

I can't give this hotel 5 stars just because it's not cheap enough or nice enough to be some kind of awesome find - but the waterpark does make it unique among Disney area hotels - and for anybody not wanting to shell out nearly $400 a night just to have Goofy serving breakfast in a more luxurious environment, you'll be plenty happy here as long as you aren't expecting more than a travel lodge type room.
