2. manager was very nice--the first room they gave me smelled of smoke, despite their non-smoking policy--so they gave me a new room which didn't smell of smoke at all.

4. The rooms were newly remodeled just last year.

5. Our room, which I believe is reflective of the remodeling, had new carpet, wall paper paint, new furniture, all new plumbing fixutres, including new sinks, tub/shower, etc.

7. Blankets and sheets were threadbare, pillows were foam rubber with no give, bath towels were small but fairly new.

8. We drive down from Seattle and have stayed for new Years, back in the day when Broadway was open to the revelers, or just to get away and visit all over the City from this great location.
