4. SoMa (south of market st ) is still full of loitering men & not too pleasant a walk into the centre of San Francisco, but it was easy to find from the airport by car & we had a lovely meal at the Triptych restaurant on Folsom Street, we had a nice room in a motel style, outside balcony with a breakfast buffet.
