3. I recommend the Stinking Rose Restaurant in North Beach if you like a bit of Garlic in your food.

4. I called the front desk and the head of housekeeping came to our room and insisted that 'WE' must have misplaced them and told us 'WE' would most likely find them when we got home.

7. The price is unbelievably low for the quality of service and comfort, especially if you like small, historic, interesting hotels, rather than the homogeneous big box chains.

8. The hotel provided a continental breakfast - we weren't expecting anything huge and we were right - just pieces of fruit (good, though) and various baked goods like muffins and danishes.

9. For a business traveler such as myself I was expecting something a little different and more modern, but like I said, if you are looking for something with character you might love this place.

10. I got half toltires liked they were recycled and also no sign anywhere that the restaurant was not operating.
