1. With free wi-fi in the lobby and the fun White Horse bar (free hot dogs), how can you go wrong? Our rate was the best in SF, we couldn't believe that such a nice place could be so reasonable.

FOLKS: Here are the facts: (1) Rooms ARE small; (2) Only ONCE have I had a problem with the Front Desk Clerk & I wrote her up (she no longer works there); (3) In my opinion, Continental Breakfast is excellent (pasteries, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, but NO HOT BREAKFAST (fyi); (4) Unless you get a room that overlooks Sutter Street, (many car horns & sirens but fun people watching), your room may very well look onto a roof; (5) Their restaurant, White Horse Tavern, is excellent & not all that expensive for S.

3. You had to ask for a hair dryer which isnt much fun when you expect one in the room and have showered then have to walk to Reception and pick one up.

4. Lefty`s has live music every night which is fun although i went outside for a cigarette and got hassled by the homeless,don`t give them any money as they will keep coming back.
